Looking for a new computer can be a daunting task.
Computers come in so many different styles, colours and sizes.
The most important thing to remember when you are looking for a new computer is never just buy a computer because it looks nice, just because a computer looks really stylish and sleek it doesn’t mean that it is generally the best.

You will notice with laptops that one model may have one component better than the other, compensating cost, it may have a better processor but in may have a smaller hard drive or may have a smaller hard drive but more memory. The trick round this is to know which components can be changed/upgraded/replaced in the future if you need to upgrade.
RAM/Memory and Hard Drive space are the cheapest and easiest to change in a system so if you purchase a laptop with a to small Hard Drive or a small amount of Memory then it is always upgradable.
When you are looking at a desktop or laptop there are a few technical items you need to check;
Processor:
We recommend to go with an Intel processor but this is a personal choice in our opinion we prefer Intel CPUs to AMD
But there are slower and less powerful versions of the Intel range to watch out for;
Atom, Celeron, Pentium say No! the price may seem good but in the long run you should invest in a high end CPU for a much better experience.
We suggest going for any of these, if you see these on a laptop your heading the right direction for a pleasant computing experience.
RAM/Memory:
Most laptops on sale now days don’t come with anything less than 4GB but there may be a few out there so keep an eye out just in case.
Hard Drive/Storage:
If you have a massive Picture, Music or Movie library make sure you have at least 500GB or think about investing in an external backup device to keep your files safe.
Conclusion:
Say No! to Atom/Celeron and Pentium processors and say Yes! to i3/i5/i7 for a more pleasurable computing experience.
